Toscana Ristorante & Bar by Eataly is now open at the Eataly Las Vegas location at Park MGM. Situated adjacent to the Gran Caffè Milano, a 94-seat dining room inspired by the famous gardens and historic architecture of its namesake region is set behind ivy-covered arches with an open woodfire grill and contemporary Tuscan-style decor. Highlights of the Tuscan cuisine include ravioli Maremmani—pillowy pasta squares filled with ricotta and spinach and topped with Così Com’è tomato sauce; bistecca “alla Fiorentina” porterhouse steak; and house-made gelato served tableside with an array of toppings. The cocktail menu includes the Negroni Toscana where guests are invited to build their own cocktail with a selection of gin, bitters and vermouth. An extensive selection of more than 450 Italian wines and 30 by the glass is offered. Tacos & Tequila Launches Sunday Mariachi Brunch
Tacos & Tequila (T&T) at Palace Station is now serving brunch on Sundays from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. with a live mariachi band performing from noon-2 p.m. Brunch specials include chilaquiles with chicken, panela cheese, crema fresca and pico de gallo with red or green sauce; tacos con tocino made with scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, melted Oaxaca and gouda cheese served with roasted potatoes; huevos rancheros—two eggs any style, black bean purée, panela cheese, crema fresca and ranchero sauce served on a corn tortilla; and French toast topped with sliced bananas, crispy bacon and Mexican caramel sauce. Beverages include a pitcher of house margaritas or sangria for $29; micheladas; and cocktails such as the Chocolate Thunder with Los Magos Sotol, OM Dark Chocolate, sea salt, cold brew concentrate, vanilla coffee creamer and cacao nibs. Bellagio Debuts Immersive Dining Experience Within Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
The Bellagio has unveiled The Garden Table, a table for six guests set within its Conservatory & Botanical Gardens with pre-fixe menus by MICHAEL MINA Bellagio and Sadelle’s Café. The MICHAEL MINA Bellagio menu, available Wed.-Sun. from 5-10 p.m. and priced at $250 per person (plus tax and tip), includes Kona blue prawn; watermelon & cucumber with chili crunch; ahi tartare; crispy spot prawns; miso-marinated hamachi; char-broiled lobster, clams, abalone and oysters; ginger-scallion broiled whole fish; and coconut souffle. The Sadelle’s menu, served daily from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. and priced at $75 per person (plus tax and tip), includes brulee grapefruit cocktail; avocado toast; fresh fruit; sticky buns and cream cheese Danishes; selection of bagels with assorted accoutrements; and choice of one mimosa, orange or grapefruit juice, coffee, espresso or hot tea. Pizza Rock Expands Happy Hour Options
Pizza Rock has greatly expanded its happy hour offerings. Food deals are gorgonzola, truffle or rosemary garlic fries for $5.50; fried green beans for $6.50; 3 meatballs for $6 and $1.50 for additional; breaded fried zucchini for $7.50; personal sized cheese pizza for $6; one topping, Tony 2 times, pesto paradise and Cal Italia for $7; and old smokey, River City ranch and picante for $8. Drink specials are $2 off all draft beers and wines by the glass, well drinks for $5 and 32 oz PBR for $4. The happy hour is available throughout the restaurant Mon.-Thu. from 3-6 p.m. (except for holidays and special events) at both the downtown and Green Valley Ranch locations. Crossroads Kitchen Offering Tasting Menus
Chef Tal Ronnen’s Crossroads Kitchen at Resorts World, the first and only high-end plant-based restaurant on the Vegas Strip, has added the Crossroads Experience Tasting Menu, a seven-course, prix-fixe menu that features an array of small plate offerings. Priced at $175 per person, the meal includes a glass of Champagne, tomato gazpacho, watermelon salad, stuffed zucchini blossom, heirloom butter beans and broccoli de cicco, sweet corn anolini and summer truffles, eggplant filet and chef's selection for dessert accompanied by Fonseca 10-year Tawny Port. The experience also includes a Crossroads cookbook signed by chef Tal Ronnen. Guests can opt for a wine pairing for an additional $45. Crossroads Kitchen, 3000 S. Estiatorio Milos Offering Twilight Menu During August
Estiatorio Milos at The Venetian is offering a four-course twilight menu served nightly from 5-7 p.m. Priced at $85 per person, the menu includes choice of Greek spreads with pita bread, loup de mer ceviche, whole fish sashimi (for two) or charcoal broiled Mediterranean octopus; tomato salad; grilled loup de mer, sashimi quality big eye tuna, Athenian-style deep sea Bay of Fundy lobster pasta (for two), grilled Colorado lamb chops or grilled eggplant and zucchini with mint yogurt and halloumi cheese; and chef’s daily selection of Greek desserts for the table. Dinner and a Show Now Offered at Peyote
Peyote at Fergusons Downtown is partnering with the showroom/discotheque Cheapshot to offer a dinner and show experience. The evening begins on Peyote’s patio garden with a three-course prix fixe menu including choice of branzino tiradito with sashimi sliced branzino or heirloom tomato salad with epazote vinaigrette; grilled chicken thigh marinated in black garlic sauce, flat iron steak with chimichurri sauce, roasted cauliflower steak with citrus and herb marinade or grilled octopus with crushed potatoes (for an additional $12); and eggless carajillo flan topped with carajillo caramel or Mama Elvira’s arroz con leche rice pudding. Following dinner, the evening entertainment continues at Cheapshot with the “Miss Behave’s Mavericks” show, an irreverent cornucopia of comedy, burlesque, circus and singing acts. Tailgate Social Sports Bar & Grill Offering Lobster Deal
Tailgate Social Sports Bar & Grill at Palace Station is offering a New England-style lobster boil special. Priced at $23, the special features a Maine lobster with Littleneck clams, Kielbasa sausage, Red Bliss potatoes and corn on the cob. The lobster meal is available through August 31, 2022, and the sports bar is open Mon-Thu 4-9 p.m., Fri 4-10 p.m., Sat 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and Sun 11 a.m.-9 p.m. In addition, happy hour Mon-Fri from 4-6 p.m. offers BBQ chicken quesadillas with wood grilled chicken and Oaxaca & Monterey Jack Cheese, warm pretzel bites with beer cheese fondue and truffle hot sauce grainy mustard and nachos for $8; and domestic draft beer for $5 and well drinks for $7. ¡VIVA! by Chef Ray Garcia Debuts Lunch Offerings
¡VIVA! by Chef Ray Garcia in The District at Resorts World is now serving lunch, available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The menu, featuring chef Garcia’s modern Mexican cuisine, includes torta with carnitas, black beans, quesillo, guacamole and bolillo; barbacoa melt with short rib, smoked Gruyère, chipotle thousand island and escabeche; chicken enchiladas with requesón, feta and red onion; and  king salmon with sweet corn, chorizo and vadouvan. ¡VIVA is also open for weekend brunch and nightly dinner service. ¡VIVA! by Chef Ray Garcia, 3000 S. Happy Hour Is Back at Lawry’s The Prime Rib
After a long hiatus due to COVID-19, Lawry’s The Prime Rib has brought back happy hour at its Las Vegas location. Offered in the bar Monday-Friday from 4:30-6 p.m., bar bites include golden fried calamari with remoulade ($14); cheesy onion fondue with gruyere and sherry wine ($9); prime rib tacos with trio of salsas ($17); shrimp, corn and jalapeno fritters ($12); Lawry’s certified Angus ½ lb chuck beef brisket burger ($23); and slow cooked prime rib chili ($9). El Luchador Mexican Kitchen + Cantina has introduced new summer brunch specials at both of its locations. The Henderson location at 375 N. Stephanie St. is offering Mexican frittata with Mexican chorizo, roasted onions, melted cheese blend, housemade Pico de Gallo, sliced avocado and fresh crema ($11.99); chilaquiles with corn tortillas smothered in red salsa or tomatillo salsa verde, fried eggs, crema, queso cotija, fresh cilantro and onions ($11.99 and with choice of beef or chicken +$2 or shrimp +$3); and fluffy banana pancakes topped with brulee bananas, whipped cream and housemade syrup ($11.99). Locale Italian Kitchen, located in the heart of Mountain’s Edge, is offering a new summer prix fixe menu. Priced at $50 per person, the meal includes antipasti choice of oven baked garlic & mozzarella bread, burrata caprese, Caesar salad or mussels al forno; entrée choice of brick oven gnocchi, salmon puttanesca, chicken parmigiana, braised beef short rib or 36 oz tomahawk ribeye for 2 (additional $75, must order two prix fixe menus per steak); side choice of summer corn cacio e pepe, smashed fried potatoes or sauteed broccolini; and dessert choice of tiramisu, salted caramel budino or brulee cheesecake. Silverton Celebrating 25th Anniversary with $25 Specials

Chef Shuffle

The off-strip cocktail lounge and live entertainment venue Star Cocktail Lounge has announced local chef Antonio Nunez will join the team as operating partner. The Las Vegas native worked at renowned Vegas restaurants including Morton’s, Le Cirque, Circo, Guy Savoy and STK before launching his own successful off-Strip brunch venues: Kitchen Table and The Stove. He has appeared on several TV shows including Food Channel’s Food Paradise, HGTV’s My Lottery Dream Home and History’s Pawn Stars. Chef Nunez and team have developed new menu items including duck confit grilled cheese with caramelized onions, duck confit, Munster cheese and fig preserves on thick pumpernickel; smoked brisket empanadas with Mexican cheese, poblanos, black beans, vinegar slaw, crema and house salsa; vegan jackfruit tacos with vegan cheese, salsa, corn tortillas, lime and salt macerated onion and avocado; and smoked and buttered brisket tossed with chipotle BBQ, crispy potatoes, cheddar cheese and spicy mayo slaw.
