• Carver Road Hospitality’s Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar is now open at Mandalay Bay. The sports bar aspects are evident, with a shuffleboard table in the bar area, a 30-foot by nine-foot LED viewing screen and numerous TVs throughout. The menu, crafted by Carver Road Hospitality's corporate executive chef Daniel Ontiveros, renowned for his success at Carversteak, is not typical sports bar fare, with items including ahi tuna tartare tacos with yuzu-guacamole and soy reduction, petite filet mignon with truffled potato puree and red wine jus, wagyu double smash burger with bacon-onion jam and Atlantic salmon with miso chili glaze. The beverage program created by master mixologist Francesco Lafranconi offers unique cocktails (such as Mr. Lee Manhattan with Nikka Coffey Grain Whiskey, Angostura Orange Bitters and Lilett Blanc), boozy milkshakes, a respectable whiskey selection (like Whiskey Pig Six Year Rye and Frey Ranch Bourbon) and 50+ beers including locally brewed CraftHaus Hop Vegas IPA and Las Vegas Brewing Company Chantilly Cream Ale. Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. S., Las Vegas, NV 89119, 702-632-7777, 877-632-7800.
