Look for Italian classics from chef Salvatore Fraterrigo at Tre Otto on the Upper East Side. The owners ran a Italian food specialty store in downtown New York in the '80s, so homemade pastas and more are on the agenda here. Tre Otto, 1408 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10028, 212-860-8880.

Totonno's returns to Coney Island after being felled by fire last year. The name of the game, as always, remains pizzas cooked in a coal-fired oven. Totonno's, 1524 Neptune Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11224, 718-372-8606.

Print, the restaurant inside Kimpton's Ink48 Hotel is now open. The menu is a mishmash of Italian, French, and American foods; a rooftop bar is set to follow later this spring. Print, Ink48, 653 11th Ave., New York, NY 10036, 212-757-2224.

Scott Conant's new restaurant, Faustina, in The Cooper Square Hotel replaces Table 8. The concept: masculine food in ladylike portions. Look for Italian favorites like Stromboli, tajarin and even fried chicken here. Faustina, The Cooper Square Hotel, 25 Cooper Sq., New York, NY 10009, 212-475-3400.
