Lavinia, one of the most popular wine merchants in Europe, has opened a new store in the mall of La Défense. There you can choose from one thousand French and foreign wines and spirits. The store also features a restaurant, a tapas bar with a menu designed by the chef of Lavinia Madrid, Angel Garcia. Open Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-8 p.m.. The Pret a Croquer chocolate Easter egg from the Hotel de Crillon Fashion-Inspired Chocolate Egg at Hôtel de Crillon
For Easter, the Hôtel de Crillon's pastry chef, Jérôme Chaucesse, has created a fashion-inspired "Prêt à Croquer" (ready-to-crunch) chocolate egg available from April 11-25 for € 55. Les Ambassadeurs is also hosting Easter brunch on April 24 & 25, featuring a buffet of croissants, pastries, smoked salmon, soups, and a cheese platter, in addition to a choice from dishes such as slow-cooked shoulder of lamb with a four-spice blend and eggplant. The cost is € 130 for adults (including a glass of Champagne), € 65 for children 12 and under. An Easter egg hunt will be held on April 24 at 11 a.m. for all children at the brunch or guests of the Hôtel de Crillon. InterContinental Paris Le Grand Sending Donations to Japan
The hotel InterContinental Paris Le Grand supports the disaster-stricken Japan. For each breakfast taken in its restaurant, Le Café de la Paix, the hotel gives € 5 to the French embassy of Japan, which collects the donations for the victims.
