Chef Alberico Penati has brought upscale Italian dining to the romantic Hotel de Vigny in Paris with the restaurant Penati al Baretto. Based around high-quality regional ingredients, the menu features a mix of modern and traditional recipes. Penati al Baretto, 9, rue Balzac, 75008 Paris, 01 42 99 80 80.

Easter at Cazaudehore
Cazaudehore La Forestière, a charming hotel near the woods of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, duly celebrates Easter. From April 12 to 28, a chocolate-focused menu will be served at the restaurant for €90 with three glasses of wine. It notably features a marbled foie gras terrine, pan-seared scallops, duck filet with smoked almonds and cocoa cream, Parmesan cheese and an assortment of chocolate for dessert. On April 21, an egg hunt is organized in the park for the kids and a brunch offered at €59 per adult and €29 per child. Cazaudehore, 1, av. Kennedy, 78100 St-Germain-en-Laye, 01 30 61 64 64.
