Straw Vote at Harry's New York Bar
Harry's New York Bar is once again organizing a straw vote, a tradition since 1924, in honor of the upcoming U.S. presidential election. Every American citizen in Paris can go to Harry's and vote for one of the two candidates. The ballot is secured thanks to an ID control and votes are counted each week. The results have always been exact, except on two occasions, in 1976 and 2004. In addition, Harry's will launch a special party on Election Day, November 6, when two cocktails will be proposed bearing the name of each candidate. Harry's New York Bar, 5, rue Daunou, 75002 Paris, 01 42 61 71 14.

A new chef, the Japanese-born Toshitaka Omiya, rules the stoves of L'Agapé. This former disciple of David Toutain at Agapé Substance prizes variations on traditional recipes and peculiar textures.
