Chef Sébastien Gravé and maître d' David Bottreau have opened Pottoka near their first venture Les Fables de la Fontaine. This small Basque bistro serves good and original courses at friendly prices. Dishes might include beef carpaccio with sauce gribiche and cogollos (lettuce hearts) and Cochonno Tonato (a version of vitello tonnato, but made with pork) with caper and artichoke sauce. The Sweet Life in Paris Book Signing
David Lebovitz, author of The Sweet Life in Paris: Delicious Adventures in the World's Most Glorious - and Perplexing - City, is hosting a book signing at Verjus Wine Bar on April 29 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. The event is also a benefit for the SOS Helpline. Young chef Benoît Vanheesbeke revisits the traditions with a zest of modernity and talent at Brasserie Vagenende.
