Chef Wolfgang Puck has opened The Sunset Room by Wolfgang Puck Chef Wolfgang Puck has opened The Sunset Room by Wolfgang Puck, a catering venue at National Harbor overlooking the Potomac. Event planners can choose from meeting menu packages or arrange a three- or four-course dinner featuring dishes such as roasted beet salad with goat cheese, toasted hazelnuts and citrus shallot vinaigrette; Shanghai Maine lobster with Chinese risotto, crispy spinach, sweet yellow curry and pickled ginger; and mango upside down cake with pineapple sauce. Seasonally minded restaurant Ripple has opened a fresh mini gourmet market, Sugar Magnolia. The Cleveland Park storefront in front of Ripple offers a rotating selection of artisanal sandwiches, pâtés, salads, craft sodas and baked goods daily from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Expect to find hand-made ice cream sandwiches by pastry chef Alison Reed and assorted savory snacks, such as terrines and rillettes. New Desserts Debut at Central Michel Richard New Desserts Debut at Central Michel Richard
Central Michel Richard has introduced new seasonal desserts for spring. These options include a "free-standing" crème brûlée with berries, raspberry coulis and mango sauce, as well as a lemon tart topped with toasted French meringue. Chef Shuffle

The Source by Wolfgang Puck has appointed Duane Copeland as executive pastry chef. New desserts on the menu include a yuzu-lime tart with coconut sorbet, dehydrated lime curd, crystallized ginger and Marcona almonds; a chocolate ganache tarte with sesame tuile and Korean chili crumble; and a Jasmine rice pudding with pecans, hazelnut biscotti and caramel-soy ice cream.
