Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews will open Labor Day weekend at Town Square in the former Claim Jumper space. The chain launched in North Dakota in 2012 and is known for offering 50 burgers and 50 beers. It also features a tribute to auto shops with actual classic cars, trucks and motorcycles suspended from the ceiling. The burger patties, made from fresh Angus beef, American Kobe beef or ground turkey, include twin cam burger topped with peppered bacon and nacho cheese between two grilled cheese sandwiches for buns; glazed doughnut burger with American cheese and peppered bacon on a glazed doughnut bun; and Sickies burger with bacon, egg, pulled pork and onion rings. Also offered are wings; cheese curds; over-sized tater tots filled with bacon, cheddar and chives; and old-fashioned shakes and malts. This location joins six others in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Nebraska. Hours will be daily from 11 a.m.-midnight. Topgolf Celebrates Quarantine Birthdays
Topgolf Las Vegas is offering a late-birthday special to those whose birthday occurred while the entertainment venue was closed during the state-wide shutdown. Available through September 17, those who missed a birthday celebration due to quarantine can enjoy an order of free injectable donut holes during their visit. To qualify for the complimentary dessert, ID needs to be shown confirming your birthday took place between March 17-June 17, the time Topgolf Las Vegas was closed during the quarantine. Bazaar Meat by José Andrés Offering New Dining and Drink Specials
Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at SAHARA Las Vegas has announced new dining and drink specials. On Sundays guests can enjoy half off select bottles of wine, as well as a cocktail and appetizer special for two available only at Bar Centro, featuring two glasses of red or white sangria and an order of croquetas for $30. In addition, chef Alex Pitts has developed a burger featuring a blend of Wagyu short rib and brisket topped with shredded iceberg, special sauce and pub cheese. Served with fries and house-made ketchup, the burger is available for $22 in both the restaurant and Bar Centro during operating hours, which are 5-10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. PT’s Taverns Offering Vegas Golden Knights Playoffs Party Packs
As the Vegas Golden Knights are competing in the NHL playoffs, PT’s Taverns is offering its VGK Playoffs Party Packs, available for pickup or dine-in at select taverns. The packs, priced at $55, include a spread of signature selections to feed six people, with mozzarella sticks, boneless and classic chicken wings, pretzel bites, seared pot stickers and PT’s signature French fries with a variety of dipping sauces. LAVO Launches Dolce Supper Club
Dolce, a new supper club within LAVO at The Palazzo, is now open on Sundays. The supper club experience begins at 9:30 p.m., as the restaurant transforms with live entertainment and a DJ while guests can select from a menu that includes the restaurant’s signature one-pound meatball, seafood, pasta and prime meats while taking in the performances. Also offered are decanter and bottle service, along with interactive desserts such as the new Tartufo, a Neapolitan gelato cake with vanilla stracciatella, strawberry and pistachio gelato and a flaming chocolate shell that is unveiled by poured flaming hot syrup and incorporated into a grand tower with tiramisu, cannoli, zeppole and strawberries. Fresco Italiano at the Westgate Las Vegas is offering a chef selection three-course menu by executive chef Steve Young. Priced at $40 per person, included are choice of Tuscan white bean and kale soup, chopped salad or Caesar salad; fettuccine Alfredo with wild mushrooms and chicken breast, salmone in padella (salmon with artichoke hearts, basil, capers and lemon butter), pollo arrosto (lemon & rosemary roasted half chicken with wild mushroom marsala and creamy polenta) or lasagna; and bomboloni, tiramisu or gelati. Honey Salt Introduces Vegan Menu and Weekly Vegan Specials
Honey Salt has introduced a new vegan program and menu with more than a dozen items, most of which are also gluten free. Items include avocado toast with pickled fresno pepper, cherry tomatoes, arugula and rustic bread; chickpea hummus with sumac, California olive oil and papadum; grain power salad with quinoa, beluga lentils, avocado, pomegranate seeds and lemon vinaigrette; slow roasted cauliflower steak with sweet corn succotash, English peas, oven roasted tomatoes and chimichurri; and green goodness juice salad in a glass: kale, apples, fennel, cucumber, celery, lemon and ginger. The Green Garden Mondays are also on the calendar with a rotating three-course menu for $29 including a starter, entrée, dessert and boozy detox shooter. An organic, vegan bottle of wine is also available to add on for $20. Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at the Sahara is offering a summer tasting menu. Priced at $99 per person, the menu includes green apple “banh mi” sandwich with Thai basil, pickled veggies and duck liver; bagel & lox cone with dill cream cheese and salmon roe; esquiexada salad with salted cod, farm-ripe tomatoes, olives and basil seed; cured beef leg with burrata cheese; Padron peppers; josper-roasted suckling lamb shawarma with grilled flatbread, piparra peppers, lemon, mint and honey; choice of grilled Wagyu flank steak with Israeli couscous and mojo rojo or Brandt beef tenderloin with sauce “espanol,” both served with fried potatoes with spicy tomato sauce and josper-roasted asparagus with Romesco sauce; and desserts of cream puffs and assorted tarts and little cakes. Hearthstone Kitchen & Cellar at Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa is now offering a weekend brunch, served from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with the new menu curated by chef Lee Davidson and pizzas from resident pizzaiola Enzo Esposito. Highlights from the new menu include avocado toast, feta and watermelon salad, lollipop chicken wings, plant-based impossible burger, breakfast burrito, build-your-own three cheese omelette and breakfast pizza topped with bacon, sausage and poached egg; and liquid libations including a Bloody Mary cart and bottomless micheladas, Aperol spritzes or mimosas. Chef Shuffle

Wynn Las Vegas has named Min Kim the new executive chef of Mizumi, the resort's fine-dining Japanese restaurant. A native of South Korea, Kim most recently served as executive chef of the Mizumi at Wynn Palace in Cotai. His career began in Seoul, where he worked alongside his father, who ran a traditional Japanese restaurant, before moving to Tokyo to hone his skills at Narisawa and Ryugin before taking the executive chef position at Wynn Palace. Upon his arrival to Wynn Las Vegas, Kim has added several of his signature items to the menu, including cold chawanmushi and steamed jidori egg-custard with grilled corn, snow peas and shiso flower; wild snapper sashimi usuzukuri with thinly sliced Japanese madai snapper, white soy and lime dressing, sesame seeds and konbu; and yuzu and passionfruit souffle with vanilla ice cream, passionfruit jelly and elderflower. MGM Resorts International has announced that celebrity chef Shawn McClain’s fine-dining restaurant Sage and casual eatery Five50Pizza Bar, both at Aria, will not be reopening. Aria president Steve Zanella said in a statement: “After a 10-year run as one of Las Vegas’ most beloved dining destinations, the iconic Sage has closed. We appreciate all that Shawn McClain and his team have invested in making this restaurant so special and successful.” McClain will still have a presence on the Vegas Strip as his McLain Camarota Hospitality company will continue to operate Libertine Social at Mandalay Bay, which is currently open for dinner Fri.-Sun.
