Openings

Simon Hospitality Group and Titan Brands have teamed up to debut Standard & Pour. Located in Henderson near Sunridge Heights and Eastern, the gastro lounge-style restaurant features a panoramic view of the Vegas Strip, as well as indoor and outdoor seating and an open kitchen. The upscale menu showcases classic dishes with an exotic twist, such as port wine mac 'n' cheese and escargot wellington. The concept is led by co-owner/chef Cory Harwell; Simon Hospitality Group culinary director John Courtney; and Jake Dieleman, who was executive sous chef of Carson Kitchen and is now Standard & Pour’s executive chef. “While this is the first collaboration between Simon Hospitality Group and Titan Brands, Standard & Pour has been a long-time vision between myself, Jeffery Marks, Cory Harwell and the late Kerry Simon, and we are excited to see the restaurant come to life,” said Scott Frost, president of Titan Brands. Shibuya at MGM Grand closed after dinner service on July 2nd, and the space will re-open this fall as Morimoto Las Vegas, a contemporary Japanese restaurant by renowned celebrity chef Masaharu Morimoto. Previously slated to open at The Mirage, the new concept will feature exquisite design, signature sushi creations and cocktail offerings, including culinary selections created specifically for the Las Vegas location. Moromoto currently has more than 10 restaurants around the world, including Mexico City, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chicago and New York City. B&B Burger & Beer Launches New $5 Patio Menu
B&B Burger & Beer is offering a special al-fresco dining experience every Tuesday through September 6. The menu is available from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. and is served only on the patio --- a 2,000-square-foot space that faces the Vegas Strip. Items are priced at $5, including featured draft and can beers, disco fries d'giorno, drive-thru sliders, shishito peppers with romesco, chicken wings served with blue cheese and a signature hot sauce, hummus with pita bread and pigs in a blanket. Delmonico Steakhouse Three-Course Seasonal Prix Fixe Menu Is Back
Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian is again offering a $65 three-course, prix-fixe dinner menu. Available through August 31, the menu features fresh seasonal favorites from chef de cuisine Ronnie Rainwater and includes guests' choice of traditional New Orleans gumbo, heirloom tomato soup, organic baby mixed greens salad, petite iceberg lettuce wedge or beef carpaccio; entrée choice of Alaskan halibut, dry-aged petite ribeye, grilled prime boneless NY strip or mushroom crusted petite filet medallions; and dessert of caramel butter cake, banana cream pie parfait or pecan pie. Border Grill Offering Unlimited Tacos on Mondays
Border Grill in The Forum Shops at Caesars is declaring its independence from Taco Tuesdays by offering a taco special every Monday. Dubbed Monday Madness, the all-day celebration offers unlimited street tacos for $20. Guests can pay an additional $20 for unlimited pitchers of blanco margaritas. Tacos can be stuffed with citrus grilled chicken, carnitas, seasonal veggies or Ensenada fish. Blanco margaritas are made with blanco tequila, fresh-squeezed lime juice and organic agave nectar. Don Vito’s Offering Three-Course Summer Meal Deal
Don Vito’s at the South Point Casino is offering a three-course meal for $19 per person. The deal is available Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Courses include guests' choice of minestrone, pasta e fagioli, Caesar salad or mozzarella fritti; fettuccini Alfredo, chicken Marsala, orange roughy Marzano or twin medallions of beef with blue cheese crust; and Vito’s sorbet or black cherry ice cream. DB Brasserie Summer Seasonal Menu July 25-31
From July 25 through July 31, DB Brasserie at The Venetian will offer The Summer Stone Fruits Menu, celebrating the season of sun and warm weather. Available during dinner (beginning at 5 p.m.), the multi-course menu costs $60 per person (plus tax and tip) and includes Saint-Agur blue cheese and nectarine flatbread; crudo of fluke and plum carpaccio with focaccia tuile; Hudson Valley foie gras and Hood River cherries with crispy chicken skin and almond ice cream; Duroc pork blade and grilled peaches; and apricot frangipane with cherry swirl gelato, whipped crème fraîche and candied almonds. Glutton Offering Special Menu Tuesdays & Thursdays Through August 30
Bradley Manchester’s Glutton in downtown Las Vegas has introduced “Toast & Toppings,” a special offer available on Tuesdays and Thursdays through August 30. From 5 p.m. on both days and extending through closing time, patrons can pay $20 for an assorted crostini board. It comes with wood-fired crostini bread bites topped with seasonal concoctions such as whipped ricotta and pickled tomato; pork rillettes with pickled apple; or avocado, Meyer lemon and shaved chili. Selections will vary and each crostini board with feature up to three different options. In addition, guests ordering the special will receive their choice of a bottle of wine. Eligible bottles include Atelié Prosecco, Secoli Pinot Grigio, Domaine Sainte Rosé, Tintonegro Malbec and Côtes de Provence Rouge.
 
Emeril's New Orleans Fish House Offering Four-Course Deal
Emeril's New Orleans Fish House at the MGM Grand is offering a "Four for $48" summer tasting menu from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily, featuring some of the restaurant’s signature dishes. Available through August 31, the deal includes your choice of starter (such as Creole boiled shrimp cocktail), appetizer (including pasta and summer truffles carbonara), main course (such as pecan-crusted Texas redfish) and any of the current dessert menu offerings (including Emeril's signature banana cream pie). Chef Shuffle

Wynn Las Vegas has appointed Andy Jin as executive pastry chef of David Walzog’s ocean-to-table seafood and steak restaurant Lakeside. Walzog will be responsible for all of the menu creations and pastry operations for the restaurant. Jin began his career in New York City, where he worked for a variety of renowned establishments such as Eleven Madison Park, Gordon Ramsay at The London, David Burke Townhouse, David Burke Fishtail and 16 Handles.
