Regina's Grocery in the LES offers 14 sandwiches, all with family-member names. Choose from the Cousin Anthony (smoked chicken, mozzarella, balsamic, arugula) and the Lil Phil (smoked ham, provolone, tomato, lettuce), both built with a classic hero. Chef Gaurav Anand offers modern Indian food with a global twist at aRoqa in Chelsea. Menu items include duck leg confit with coconut curry and poppadams, and sea bass with lemongrass-makrut curry and beaten rice pilaf. A 500-gallon aquarium greets guests at Inwood's Seawalk, which serves fish, seafood and pasta dishes by executive chef Fernando Mayers, a db bistro moderne alum. Seawalk, 261 Dyckman St., New York, NY 10034, 212-568-9014.

Ariel Arce, the former wine director at Birds & Bubbles, has opened Air's Champagne Parlor in Greenwich Village. The wine list features 125 Champagne and sparkling selections with 50 bottles priced under $50. Food-wise, look for oysters, caviar service and more. Erna Kaaber and Helen Olafsdottir have opened a New York outpost of their Reykjavik restaurant, Icelandic Fish & Chips, offering sustainably harvested seafood flown in from Iceland. Millie Stallings has debuted her first restaurant, Minnie's, located on the Lower East Side. New American fare is the focus, seen in dishes like crispy pork belly with green papaya slaw and lamb neck flatbread with labne and Fresno pepper sauce, along with fluffy pink cake prepared from a Stallings family recipe. Canal Street newcomer Cervo's offers fresh seafood, with preparations from Portugal and Spain. On the menu are octopus a la plancha, Spanish mackerel crudo and monkfish liver on toast, while the wine list features bottles sourced solely from the Iberian Peninsula. Sweeping views and a menu of grilled meats, seafood and sushi by chef Seth Levine are in store at Estate Garden Grill. The outdoor-indoor restaurant in Ravel Hotel by the Queensboro Bridge also serves up wine and craft beer on tap. From a London-based Italian restaurant group, Cecconi's Dumbo offers outdoor seating, views of Manhattan and a menu ranging from salads to small bites, and pizzas to mains like veal Milanese and branzino in broth. More than 40 food vendors fill DeKalb Market Hall’s 60,000 square feet of underground space in downtown Brooklyn. You’ll find the first outpost of Katz’s Deli, Cafe d’Avignon, Wilma Jean, Ample Hills Creamery, Lioni Italian Heroes, Arepa Lady and more. Lunch & Dinner daily. From the team behind Prospect Heights’ Look by Plant Love House, Mondayoff in Ditmas Park sports a new neon sign that reads “All day I dream of Mondayoff.” The restaurant serves thoughtful Thai dishes like Isaan sour sausage, pineapple fried rice with shrimp, and mango with ice cream and pandan-coconut sticky rice. The poke craze continues. The seafood restaurant Oceana has opened Oceana Poke, a spot devoted to the dish, which makes bowls and pick-your-own combinations, featuring seafood, fish, chicken, tofu and veggies. Oceana Poke, 1700 Broadway, New York, NY 10019, 212-713-0033.
 
The Crown, Dale Talde, David Massoni, and John Bush's rooftop spot atop the Hotel 50 Bowery, boasts stunning views. Asian-inspired cocktails and small plates of global street food are on offer. The Crown, Hotel 50 Bowery, 50 Bowery, New York, NY 10013, 646-630-8057.
 
Mayanoki, a pop-up omakase sushi spot featuring local and sustainable seafood, now has a permanent home. Certified by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch for sustainability, the restaurant offers a 15-course meal for $95. Mayanoki, 620 E. 6th St., New York, NY 10009, no phone.
 
Chef Anne Burrell and barman Phil Casaceli have opened Phil & Anne's Good Time Lounge. The Brooklyn restaurant's walls are covered in vinyl records. Their menu features comfort food like grilled Korean short ribs, harissa crusted lamb chops and "Big Fat Chicken Soup." Eleven Madison Park has closed for renovations Facelift for Eleven Madison Park
Daniel Humm and Will Guidara's fine dining mecca Eleven Madison Park is temporarily closed for renovations. Both the dining room and kitchen will get a facelift. The re-opening is scheduled for Fall 2017. In the meantime, the team will operate EMP Summer House, a casual pop-up in East Hampton. For more information, visit the official website.
