Located in The Bowery House, a budget hotel, The Bowery Kitchen serves up simple Italian dishes in a near diner-like environment. Menu items range from homemade lasagna with Italian meat ragu and taleggio cheese and creamy risotto with chicken, pineapple, apple and curry. The Bowery Kitchen also has its own proprietary "Bowery Brew." The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 175-year-old Delmonico's has announced it is expanding to Midtown this autumn. Word on the street is that the new restaurant won't just be a copy of the original downtown location but something different. Location and exact opening date are not yet available. Trading PlacesTwo of the country's most acclaimed restaurants will soon be trading places: Eleven Madison Park's Daniel Humm and crew will be heading to Chicago to cook at Alinea, and Grant Achatz and his crew from Alinea will be heading east to set up shop in Eleven Madison Park. The project is officially called 21st Century Limited. Diners, especially those with fat wallets, will get a chance to sample chef Achatz's offerings at Eleven Madison Park for five nights starting on September 26. The NoMad is packing up its rooftop dining area for the summer; it will see its last dinner on August 31. The area will reopen next year. NoMad, The NoMad Hotel, 1170 Broadway, New York, NY 10001, 347-472-5660.

Kitchit, which arranges "bespoke dining" experiences, has added several names to its roster of chefs available for private, in-home events. The company's culinary talent now includes Brad Farmerie (Public), Dave Martin (ChefDaveMartin.com), Jacqueline Lombard (Jacqueline Lombard Events) and Bill Telepan (Telepan).
