The three-year-old Park Slope eatery Fonda has expanded to the East Village. The 60-seat Mexican restaurant has a menu similar to its Brooklyn sibling. Fonda, 40 Ave. B, New York, NY 10003, 212-677-4096.
Yefsi Estiatorio modern Greek taverna on the Upper East Side Located on the Upper East Side, Yefsi Estiatorio is a modern Greek taverna with some dishes leaning toward Cyprus. Keste Pizza & Vino's pizza toque, Roberto Caporuscio, and Antonio Starita, the famed pizzaiolo of Pizzeria Starita a Materdei in Naples, have joined forces to create Don Antonio By Starita, located in Hell's Kitchen. Don Antonio By Starita, 309 W. 50th St., New York, NY 10019, 646-719-1043.
Alex Stupak, the chef who runs Empellon Taqueria in the West Village, has opened his second restaurant, Empellon Cocina. From the owners of Park Slope favorite, al di la, comes Bar Corvo in neighboring Prospect Heights. The restaurant will serve up casual Italian dishes, like pastas and salad. Bar Corvo, 791 Washington Ave. , Brooklyn, NY 11238, 718-230-0940.

Fatty Brunch
Fatty 'Cue, located on Carmine Street in the West Village and also in Williamsburg, is now serving brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy biscuit hash, ricotta flapjacks, Malaysian tripe, and the Gouda-topped Smoky Johnson Burger. Wash it all down with one of several cocktails, or get the tableside-prepared Bloody Mary. Lower East Side Chinese
San Francisco restaurant Mission Chinese Food is coming to New York --- the Lower East Side, in fact. In a few months, an outpost will open in the former home of Bia Garden and Rhong Tiam. Porsena to Expand

Floating Le Cirque
Le Cirque and Holland America have teamed up to create "An Evening at Le Cirque" in the Pinnacle Grill aboard 15 of the cruise line's ships. Michaels in Midtown Manhattan New Winter Cocktails at Michael's
Michael's, the California cuisine spot in Midtown, has a new set of cocktails to get you through winter: "Winter Rendezvous" boasts Cognac, vermouth and Maraschino cherries, among other elements; "Cupid's Arrow," certain to make you fall in love, has Santa Teresa 1796 rum, lime juice and simple syrup; and "Red Hot Ruby" is filled with rum, Campari and mulled wine. Chef Shuffle

Gabriel Stulman's growing West Village empire continues with the forthcoming Perla. The new chef, just announced, is Michael Toscano, late of Eataly's Manzo.
Joseph Murphy is the new executive pastry chef at Jean Georges Joseph Murphy, under the tenure of chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten since 2003, is the new executive pastry chef at Jean Georges. Jean Georges, Trump International Hotel & Tower, 1 Central Park W., New York, NY 10023, 212-299-3900.


Williamsburg restaurant Masten Lake has shut down after just seven months of business.
Ellabess, the new restaurant in The Nolitan hotel on Elizabeth and Kenmare Streets, has already shut down. A new restaurant concept will open up in the space in a few months. The Nolitan, 30 Kenmare St., New York, NY 10012, 212-925-2555.
